Theory Of Evolution

The Theory of Evolution by natural selection was first formulated in Charles Darwin’s book “On the Origin of Species” published in 1859. In his book, Darwin describes how organisms evolve over generations through the inheritance of physical or behavioral traits. The theory starts with the premise that within a population, there is variation in traits, such as beak shape in one of the Galapagos finches Darwin studied. According to the theory, individuals with traits that enable them to adapt to their environments will help them survive and have more offspring, which will inherit those traits. Individuals with less adaptive traits will less frequently survive to pass them on. Over time, the traits that enable species to survive and reproduce will become more frequent in the population and the population will change and evolve. Through natural selection, Darwin suggested, genetically diverse species could arise from a common ancestor. Though, he did not know the mechanism by which traits were passed on, he did not know about genetics, the mechanism by which genes encode for certain traits and those traits are passed on from one generation to the next. He also did not know about genetic mutation, which is the source of natural variation. But future research by geneticists provided the mechanism and additional evidence for evolution by natural selection

Internal Theory Of Evolution

We can conceive the above mentioned theory from an internal perspective: every personality of ours, every part, the child, the adolescent, the angry one, the deluded, the sad boy; every aspect of our psyche is like a species that strive for survival. If a character of our internal show is useful to us, to our life, than he will survive and gain power into our mind; otherwise, if our old roles are not useful or even harmful to our development, they are doomed, sooner or later, to fall into the cemetery of our unconscious.

Observe Your Internal Characters

How can we accelerate this evolutionary process of our consciousness? Observe yourself, as much as you can. How you act with people, by yourself, when you change your personality according to the situation, which internal actor takes the scene at this moment? This practice will take you a step further to the knowing of yourself, your psyche, your own essence.
